TDI Review
Nara Smith is not a tradwife, at least that is what she wants people to understand. This year has seen the creator increasingly push beyond the label that has followed her rise, turning her highly stylised online persona into opportunities across publishing and entertainment and landing her a place in the Highly Rated tier.
In October, Smith released her debut cookbook, Homemade, featuring 80 from-scratch recipes influenced by her multicultural upbringing. She is supporting the release with a book tour, including stops in London and New York.
Brands have also bought into the distinctive aesthetic behind her rise. In September 2025, Smith worked with Reformation on a 20-piece collection inspired by her vintage-inflected style. Smith is now turning her skills to acting, and is set to debut in Amazon MGM’s culinary thriller Tyrant, alongside actresses Charlize Theron and Demi Moore. She also has another film in post-production. Her signing with CAA in August is another indication of how seriously she is taking this next stage of her career.
While the domestic imagery behind Smith’s content will inevitably continue to invite debate, it increasingly tells only part of the story. Smith has spent much of her rise being defined by what people think she represents; the career taking shape in 2026 is giving them considerably more to talk about.

The line — featuring structured dresses, lace blouses, and faux-fur-trimmed gowns — reflects Smith’s vintage-inspired, cinematic aesthetic. Shot in her signature whimsical style, the campaign extended her “from-scratch” ethos into fashion, merging nostalgia with sustainability.
Nara Smith x Cetaphil
Cetaphil partnered with Nara Smith to spotlight eczema awareness through its “From Scratch to Smooth” campaign. Drawing from her personal experience with eczema, Smith shares her journey with flare-ups, nutrition, and finding relief using Cetaphil’s Restoraderm Rapid Relief Cream. The campaign also includes educational content created with dermatologist Dr. Camille Howard.
Nara Smith x Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs partnered with model and creator Nara Smith on a TikTok campaign where she “baked” a red tote bag from scratch — a twist on her signature domestic content. The video quickly went viral, generating over 13M views and nearly $1.3M in media impact value within 48 hours. It also drew backlash after artist Mary Korlin-Downs accused the brand of copying her earlier concept for Marc Jacobs, sparking wider debate about originality and credit in influencer marketing.
