Kolsquare goes all in on AI with Storyclash acquisition

Influencer marketing software company Kolsquare has acquired AI-powered rival Storyclash, doubling down on artificial intelligence as it accelerates its push to become Europe’s dominant influencer marketing platform.
The deal marks Kolsquare’s third acquisition in the past year, following earlier purchases in the Nordics and Italy, and significantly strengthens its footprint in German-speaking markets.
Together, the companies now serve around 2,000 brands, agencies and public organisations across more than 30 countries.
The merged group plans to roll out new tools to help brands and creators plan and run campaigns more effectively, including improved forecasting, creator discovery, real-time performance tracking and AI-assisted creative support.
Kolsquare founder and chief executive Quentin Bordage said the acquisition was a decisive step in the company’s long-term strategy.
“We have been really impressed by the quality of Storyclash’s technology and their pioneering work in AI,” Bordage said. “This acquisition is a major step in our mission to build a European influencer marketing powerhouse and empower brands with the next generation of influence.”
Storyclash is best known for using AI to help brands find suitable creators and measure how campaigns perform. Its platform analyses content and audience engagement to identify relevant creators, rather than relying on follower numbers alone. For creators, it is positioned as a way to increase visibility with brands and use performance data to support fairer partnerships.
Storyclash chief executive Andreas Gutzelnig said the deal would give the company greater scale and resources to expand beyond the DACH region, while continuing to invest in AI-driven innovation.
