Apple is betting that content creators will sign up to a new all-in-one subscription for video and audio editing, as it goes head-to-head with Adobe in the market for creator tools.

The tech giant this week launched Creator Studio, a bundled subscription that brings together its professional video and audio software under a single monthly price.

The move positions Apple more directly against Adobe, whose Creative Cloud suite has long been the default for many content creators.

Apple Creator Studio bundles Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro, alongside tools including MainStage, Motion and Compressor. The bundle is positioned as a single entry point for creators editing video or photos across Mac and iPad.

Creator Studio launches on 28 January, with prices set at $12.99 a month or $129 a year.

Apple said the bundle is designed to make its professional creative tools easier to access under one subscription. Announcing the launch, Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said the suite would give creators “easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity.”

The launch reflects a broader trend of platforms seeking to bring creator tools under their own roof as the creator economy grows and attracts more investment.
