Roblox creators earned more than $1.5 billion in 2025, up from $923 million a year earlier, as payouts grew across the US and several international markets.
New economic impact reports commissioned by Roblox show the number of creators eligible for payouts grew at a compound annual rate of 84% in Mexico, 83% across the Middle East and North Africa and 70% in the European Union between 2020 and 2025.
The US remains Roblox's largest creator market. American creators received around $673 million last year, according to the company, while their activity contributed an estimated $752 million to US GDP. The US report, produced by consultancy Nordicity, estimates creator activity supported the equivalent of 7,525 full-time jobs.
Creators earn from experiences and virtual items, and those eligible can convert the platform's virtual currency, Robux, into cash through its Developer Exchange programme. A survey conducted for the US report found 83% of respondents were individual creators rather than studios.
The figures come days after the European Commission designated Roblox a Very Large Online Platform after it reported 46.6 million monthly users in the EU, bringing its growing European business under additional Digital Services Act requirements.
