Sister Group has taken a majority stake in After Party Studios, adding a creator-led business to its portfolio.

Founded in 2016 by YouTuber Callum McGinley, known online as Callux, alongside Ben Doyle and Joshua Barnett, the company makes shows and brand campaigns.

Its work includes the Sidemen Charity Match at Wembley Stadium, Channel 4.0 series such as Don’t Get Catfished, and projects for brands including Netflix and Just Eat.

Upcoming work includes Race to the Top, a series following KSI’s takeover of Dagenham & Redbridge FC.

Sister said the deal will allow After Party to develop new projects and work more closely with its wider group of production companies across TV, film, podcasts, publishing and live events.

Announcing the deal on LinkedIn, After Party said it was excited to explore “what the future of storytelling for the next generation looks like” with Sister. McGinley and Doyle described the move as a “natural next step”.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
