Skincare brand Osier has signed Chloe Veitch as its newest brand ambassador, betting that her openness about sobriety can help it reach a younger audience.
Osier, known for its clean, recovery-focused skincare line, was founded by Cheree Ashley following her own recovery from substance addiction. She has spent the past decade working in substance rehabilitation and built the brand to address both the visible and invisible effects of addiction, from skin conditions like rosacea and dehydration to the emotional toll of recovery. The company donates 10% of proceeds to support people seeking addiction treatment.
Ashley told The Daily Influence the choice of Veitch was central to the brand's mission. "It wasn't beyond that, it started there," Ashley said. "Recovery touches far more people than most realise. Whether someone has struggled personally or has loved someone who has, addiction has impacted so many families."
The pair first connected at an event. "I met Cheree at an event and opened up about my sobriety," Veitch said. "She was absolutely glowing, and to my surprise, she shared that she's sober too. That's when she introduced me to Osier, and I've been using it ever since."
Now the brand is banking on that personal connection to reach a wider audience without moving away from the community it was built to serve. "Our products are for anyone who believes self-care is part of overall wellness," Ashley said. "Working with ambassadors like Chloe allows us to introduce that mission to a younger audience in a way that feels authentic, while continuing to support the community that has been with us from the beginning."
Ashley said the brand plans further product launches and additional partnerships as it grows beyond skincare. "Long term, my vision has always been much bigger than skincare," she said. "Osier is becoming a luxury wellness brand, and every new product and partnership will reflect that purpose of helping people feel their best – from the inside out."
Veitch, who won the first season of Too Hot to Handle in 2020 before appearing on The Circle US and Perfect Match, has spoken openly about her own sobriety.
She co-founded the Stand Recovery Centre with her father, a charity that helps house people struggling with alcoholism and addiction, and said Osier's give-back model was what set it apart. "As the brand continues to grow, proceeds will go toward helping support recovery, a mission that truly resonates with me," she said.
