The Only Agency acquires The Blogger Agent

A US talent business known for representing some of fashion and entertainment’s biggest stylists has snapped up The Blogger Agent to fuel its international expansion.

Founded by Claudia Bish in 2015, The Blogger Agent is a UK talent and influencer marketing agency whose roster includes creator Isobel Lorna and collectively reaches more than 100 million followers on social media.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands The Only Agency’s creator representation business, adding The Blogger Agent’s network across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment and culture to a roster that already includes Law Roach, the celebrity stylist best known for his work with Zendaya.

Kent Belden, founder and chief executive of The Only Agency, said the deal would help it create a “truly global talent platform”.

“The Blogger Agent has built an exceptional business and a powerful roster of creators with real influence and cultural relevance,” he said in a statement.

Bish will remain with the business and help lead The Only Agency’s expansion in the US and Middle East, focusing on signing talent and developing opportunities in both markets.

“Joining forces gives our creators access to new opportunities, relationships and markets while allowing us to build on everything we’ve created so far,” she said in a statement.

The Blogger Agent will continue to operate under its existing name, with its London-based team joining The Only Agency.

The acquisition is the latest in a wave of dealmaking across the creator economy this year, including LBG Media’s £33.8 million deal for a 75% stake in Uncovered and Publicis Groupe’s acquisition of Fabric Social.
