Tubi picks 12 TikTok creators to make their first TV shows

Tubi has picked 12 TikTok creators to develop their first TV shows, as its push to turn digital talent into original programming moves into production.
The creators will make 10 original series exclusively for the Fox-owned streaming service through Creatorverse, the incubator Tubi launched with TikTok earlier this year.
The projects include a dating show from Kai Cameron, a friendship series hosted by Sabrina Brier and an animated comedy from Lynnell Jones Jr. Marc Sebastian will front a travel series in Australia, while Christopher Kiely and Allie Tran are each developing shows around horror.
The wider cohort includes Kendria Bland, Yasmine Sahid, Madison Humphrey and Sebastian Krahl, alongside Alex Maystrik and Pablo Hernandez, who will appear with Sahid in her comedy series.
Tubi first announced Creatorverse in March as a route for TikTok creators to develop longer-form scripted and unscripted shows.
“The creators we’re working with have built a following, a point of view, and a body of work that people come back for,” said Kudzi Chikumbu, vice president of creator partnerships at Tubi.
“The Incubator is where we come in as their partner, giving them the creative freedom to grow what they’ve started. We’re proud to support them as they create their first TV shows, making ambitious work they may not otherwise be able to make and growing beyond the audiences and formats that had previously defined them.”
Tubi said the cohort marks its biggest investment yet in developing original programming with creators. Since launching Tubi for Creators in June 2025, the streaming service has added more than 35,000 episodes from over 700 creators.
The programme comes as streaming companies increasingly look to digital creators for original shows. Disney has commissioned a 20-episode series from Dhar Mann Studios, while Sony Pictures Television recently signed Moletown Drama creator Thea Von Engelbrechten to a multiyear first-look deal.
