Billion Dollar Boy acquires Creator Authority in multi-million dollar deal

Hannah Oladele | Oct 15, 2026

Billion Dollar Boy has made its first acquisition, snapping up B2B agency Creator Authority in a multi-million dollar deal, the latest in a string of dealmaking across the creator economy.

Creator Authority specialises in campaigns that use creators to reach business audiences and is an official LinkedIn Marketing Partner. The deal gives BDB a dedicated foothold in B2B creator marketing as it looks to grow the business globally.

Group revenue is forecast to exceed $100 million in 2027 following the deal. The exact purchase price was not disclosed, although BDB confirmed to The Daily Influence that it was a multi-million dollar transaction.

BDB plans to combine Creator Authority’s specialist expertise with its existing technology and global infrastructure, including influencer marketing platform Companion, as it builds out its B2B offering.

The deal also brings Creator Authority’s clients into the group, including Amazon, Adobe and IBM, and expands BDB’s US footprint to Los Angeles and Austin alongside its existing New York office.

BDB Group founder and chief executive Ed East said B2B represented one of the biggest growth opportunities in creator marketing.

“Creator Authority has built an incredible business by recognizing this opportunity early and understanding what makes B2B creator marketing effective,” he said.

“Combining that specialist expertise and market credibility with BDB Group’s global scale and proprietary technology gives us a powerful opportunity to build the leading B2B creator tech platform.”

Under the deal, Creator Authority co-founder and chief executive Brendan Gahan will become senior vice-president of B2B at BDB Group, leading market development and new business growth. Co-founder Cassie Jackson will become group account director for B2B.

Gahan said Creator Authority had been founded on the belief that the shift towards creators in consumer advertising would eventually extend into the B2B market.

“Over the past two decades, creators have transformed consumer advertising. We launched Creator Authority because we believed B2B was next,” he said.

“Now the market is quickly catching up, and joining BDB Group gives us the global reach and infrastructure to meet that demand at scale.”

BDB Group recorded a 24% rise in global revenue over the past year. Its research of 1,000 senior marketers in the US and UK found one in five had invested in B2B creator marketing in 2026, with respondents reporting it delivered the strongest return among the creator strategies they had backed.

Natalie Marshall, better known as Corporate Natalie, built her following through comedy about corporate work culture and serves as a strategic adviser to Creator Authority.

“When I met Brendan three years ago, Creator Authority was just an idea. I joined as an advisor because I believed in it,” she said. “This deal clearly signals how fast the B2B creator space is growing, and it’s just getting started!”

The tie-up comes amid a burst of M&A across the creator agency market. Earlier this month, SAMY acquired US social-first agency Get Engaged in a low nine-figure deal, while US sports and entertainment agency The Team bought UK-based Outreach Talent Group.

The Only Agency also acquired UK creator management business The Blogger Agent in September.
